Doyle Yoder, a native
of Holmes County, Ohio, whose roots go back
to the first Amish immigrants to America in the 1730’s has
documented the Amish lifestyle since 1982. He publishes
the annual
Amish Country Calendar, Amish Country
jigsaw puzzles, post cards
and note cards. Widely acclaimed for his Amish
country, scenic and
railroad photography, Doyle’s photos have appeared in Country,
Country Extra, Reminisce, Farm & Ranch Living, Midwest Living,
Country America, Trains, Railroad, Rail fan Boys Life and
numerous other books, brochures, magazine and calendars. brochures, magazines

He was honored with a silver medal in 1993 by the American Travel Writers Foundation, for the best newspaper photo illustration of a travel article about Amish Country. The September 1990 issue of Country Extra featured fifteen of his photos in a "God’s Country" tribute to Holmes County. Doyle also operates pre-press, ad, brochure design and photography services, producing many of the brochures available in and about Amish Country.
